A select group of the top undergraduate university students are chosen to do an 9 to 10 week international summer internships with a social enterprise. The 5-day pre-departure training in Washington DC prepares students for a deep dive learning opportunity abroad focusing on the following core modules: intercultural competency, organizational leadership, social impact theory, and global adaptability. Ambassadors chose to focus on Interactive Community Mapping or Digital Storytelling for Social Impact-Learning as fundamental components of the AC summer experience and have the opportunity to work in one of 5 distinct tracks:
